Production Associate: Shipping
Pay Rate:
Production Associate - Shipping start as entry level at an hourly rate of $22.81/hr.
After an initial onboarding period, the Production Associate - Shipping new hires immediately begin a state-of-the-art training and certification program to allow potential rapid advancement to higher position and increased wages.
Average annual earning potential within the first year is $50,000+, the future is bright for our top operators who have annual earnings of $90,000+.

A 28-day cycle looks like this:
4 Day Shifts (6 a.m. – 6 p.m.) --- 7 days off
4 Night Shifts (6 p.m. – 6 a.m.) --- 3 days off
3 Day Shifts (6 a.m. – 6 p.m.) --- 1 day off
3 Night Shifts (6 p.m. – 6 a.m.) --- 3 days off

Job Requirements:
- At least 18 years of age
- Minimum high school graduate, GED equivalent or equivalent work experience of 2 years
- Eligible for employment in the US
- Must be willing to meet the following requirements:

- Operate or work in industrial conditions (will be warm/hot, dusty/dirty, around hazardous chemicals, noise, and heavy machinery or elevated working surfaces and includes repetitive motions (with proper safety training and safety protection);
- Undergo a drug screen for illicit use of drugs as a condition of employment;
- Undergo a job-related health assessment as a condition of employment;
- Submit to periodic drug screens as a condition of employment;
- Work any shift and/or a rotating shift schedule;
- Work overtime on a regular basis and with last minute notification;
- Work holidays and/or weekends on a regular basis;
- Wear required safety equipment.
The Job You Will Perform:
- Safely operate a sit-down powered industrial truck (PIT);
- Load and unload trailers;
- Complete pre-use PIT maintenance inspection report;
- Follow proper trailer loading and unloading lock-out/tag-out procedure;
- Understand and follow load pattern according to trailer, railcar;
- Follow all safety rules and practices at all times;
- Pulls and prepares orders for shipment, ensuring that the exact number and type of product is loaded and shipped;
- Efficiently moves product from staging/storage areas and production lines into trailers and/or storing/staging areas;
- Loads, unloads, moves, stacks, and stages product and materials using a forklift or other power equipment such as Roll & Bale Clamp Trucks. Maintains the facility’s equipment and materials in a neat, clean, and orderly fashion;
- Involves working collaboratively in a fast-paced environment;
- Guarantees inventory control and security are maintained;
- Assist in physical inventories and maintain a clean, neat, and orderly work area

The Skills You Will Bring:
Preferred Candidates will have:
- Minimum of 2 years PIT experience;
- Previous PIT operating experience in an industrial manufacturing or other labor intensive work experience;
- A background as an order picker is preferred;
- Be able to multitask in a very fast-paced environment;
- Be computer literate and effectively use scanning equipment and arrange for the transportation of products;
- The ability to learn; and the ability to follow instructions, ask questions, and work effectively as a member of a team;
- Ability to read and understand loading instructions and patterns;
- Ability to problem solve with minimal assistance;
- Must be flexible and willing to work overtime as needed;
- Demonstrated combination of technical training and school leadership activities; or
- Other technical training or certifications such as Ready to Work programs.
