The Pine Hill Mill is currently seeking Electrician Journeymen who are dependable with excellent problem-solving, communication and teamwork skills. The hourly rate of pay for this position is $37.41 for day workers.

The Job You Will Perform:
This is a journeyman-level electrician responsible to completing scheduled maintenance, preventive maintenance and break-in electrical work along with performing many other duties both as part of a team and independently. Duties for this electrician includes, but are not limited to, installing, troubleshooting, and maintaining 480v thru 13.8kv electrical systems, 480v and 2300v motor controls and associated control equipment including relay logiv nand PLC systems. This position includes a progressive comprehensive instrument-training program to develop into an IE Technician. Install, troubleshoot, repair AC and DC drive systems as well as stand-alone process drives of various manufacturerers.
Responsibilities:
- Install, troubleshoot, maintain 480v and 2300v motors including induction, synchronous, wound rotor, permanent magnet and DC
- Install, troubleshoot, maintain motor controls 480v and 2300v including electronic motor protection relays, sizing overloads and starter maintenance of various manufactureres
- Install, troubleshoot, maintain various electrical components such as mechanical limit, proximity, photo electric, speed and reflective switches
- Perform repairs and preventative maintenance on 480v thru 13.8kv power distirbution switchgear
- Perform repairs and preventive maintenance on routine and extended annual outages
- Understand and follow NFPA70E regulations involving Arc Flash and Shock hazards
- Maintain shops, load centers and work areas in a 5S standard
- Assist Instrument Journeyman as needed
- Other duties as assigned

Required Experience:
- Minimum high school diploma or GED equivalent
- Must be 18 years or older
- Eligible for employment in the US
- Must have a degree or certification in Electrical Studies; or at least 3 years of work experience in Electrical systems.
- Able to function in a team environment
- Willing and capable of working all shifts
Plus – must be willing to meet the following requirements:
- Undergo a drug screen for illicit use of drugs as a condition of employment
- Submit to periodic drug screens as a condition of employment
- Work any shift and/or a rotating shift schedule
- Work overtime on a regular basis and with last minute notification
- Work holidays and/or weekends on a regular basis
- Respond to emergencies during off hours and weekends
- Wear required safety equipment/PPE
- Continue to develop skills to become a IE Technician
- Operate or work in industrial conditions (i.e. warm/hot, dusty/dirty, around hazardous chemicals, noise, and heavy machinery or elevated working surfaces with proper safety training and safety protection)
Preferred Qualifications:
- Associate degree in a maintenance discipline
- Relevant work experience in an industrial environment
- Strong math/physics understanding
- Prior experience as a multi-skill mechanic
