Pay Rate:

$51,000 - $68,000

Multiple factors, including Individual experience, skills and abilities will determine where an employee is ultimately placed in the pay range.

Salaried Full-Time Non-Exempt (Overtime Eligible)/Monday – Friday 8hr Schedule

The Job You Will Perform (including but not limited to):

This position reports to the Mill Learning Leader and is responsible for assisting with the administration of the Pine Hill Mill’s Training and Development functions.  In addition, this position supports the Human Resources department with various activities such as assisting with hourly recruiting and staffing activities; Provides the necessary assistance to the Training and Human Resources department with a high level of integrity, strong organizational skills and professionalism.

 

  • Schedules and assists in New Hire Orientations;
  • Assists with Scheduling applicable Leadership trainings (supervisor training; First Line Leader; International Paper Leadership Development, Safety Leadership Training & Certification); creates sign-in sheets; Updates Rosters in the My-Learning System;
  • Manages the Security Access System and Badge Making Program
  • Creates spreadsheets for various reports as needed / directed;
  • Keeps Training Sharepoint Intranet page and other media platforms current and updated;
  • Assists with maintaining department training calendar to coordinate work flow and meetings;
  • Prepares responses to correspondence containing routine training inquiries;
  • Performs general clerical duties to include, but not limited to, record keeping, copying, faxing, mailing and filing;
  • Prepares training materials, create nametags & tents, sign-in sheets and other duties as required for training events;
  • Assists with scheduling and coordination of in-person and/or off-site trainings, conferences, online and/or self-study trainings;
  • Creates and modifies documents such as reports, memos, letters and other documents using word processing, spreadsheet, database and/or other presentation software such as Microsoft Office or other programs;
  • In line with Corporate Purchasing practices, researches prices and purchases training equipment, materials and/or supplies as needed utilizing an approved company purchase method (ie. Corporate Purchasing/Travel Card)
  • Support Training and Human Resources staff in assigned projects;
  • Serves as Pine Hill Mill’s subject matter expert the Learning Management System (LMS) and the Learning Content Management System (LCMS).  Performs basic and complex functions in the system; including data entry, reporting, and creation and production of e-course material.

 

Minimum Key Knowledge and Experience:

  • High School Diploma
  • 1 to 3 years Human Resources and/or Training experience or equivalent professional training (Degree or Technical Certificate). 
  • Strong PC skills required with demonstrated proficient use of Microsoft Excel; Microsoft Word; and Microsoft Power Point.  

 

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience working with a Training or Learning Content Management System preferred.
