The Job You Will Perform:

  • Assisting with the Workforce planning, hiring process, which includes coordinating job posts, reviewing resumes, performing reference checks, scheduling drug screens, administering background checks, mailing internal new hire information to applicant and assisting with relocation process.
  • Creating/updating employment record profiles related to hiring, transferring, promoting, and terminating in SAP to download to Workbrain.
  • Keeping employee profiles current in Workbrain (Qualified jobs, rate changes etc.).
  • Ensuring new hire paperwork is completed and processed.
  • Assist in the orientation of new employees on HR policies, benefits, schedules, etc.
  • Assisting in processing all personnel action forms and ensuring proper approval.
  • Assisting the HR Manager and HR Business Partners with employment relations issues.
  • Monitors leave of absence database, facilitates requests for information, and liaisons with Sedgwick.
  • Provides training and assists with on-line performance management administration and questions
  • Maintains organizational charts.
  • Provides support for the business people review process by assisting with scheduling, preparing and compiling materials.
  • Assists in preparing materials and reports for business compensation planning processes (MIP, PSP and MRP).
  • Manages the overall business relocation process, provides documentation and reports on a regular basis.  Interacts with SIRVA frequently via phone and e-mail.
  • The HR Coordinator will also prepare and manage correspondence, reports, and documents, handle incoming mail, take and distribute minutes of meetings, maintain schedules and calendars, implement and maintain office and filing systems, collate information from various sources, maintain databases, serve as a central point for disseminating inter-departmental communication, and coordinate the flow of information internally.

 

The Qualifications, Skills, and Knowledge You Will Bring:

  • Minimum 2-3 years of HR or related experience; Associate Degree preferred.
  • Previous HR systems experience required / SAP HR experience preferred.
  • Excellent computer skills including Microsoft Office Suite (Word, PowerPoint, and Excel).
  • Ability to manipulate large amounts of data from multiple sources in Excel (maintain spreadsheets, utilize v-lookups, pivot tables, etc.), ensure data accuracy, and summarize the data in a concise manner.
  • Ability to create and edit PowerPoint presentations.
  • Excellent customer service and time management skills – must be able to work independently and multi-task.
  • Ability to maintain a high degree of confidentiality.
  • Exceptional organizational skills.
  • Strong communication skills including both verbal and written communication.  Has the ability to make the complex simple and communicate across all levels of the organization.
  • Ability to prioritize, multi-task, organize and a high degree of attention-to-detail are important in this role.
  • Dependable, punctual, and self-motivated.
