Position Title

Maintenance E&I Associate

 

Pay Rate:

$28.02/hour

Multiple factors, including individual experience, skills, and abilities will determine where an employee is ultimately placed in the pay range.

 

Sign on Bonus:     

New hires are eligible for up to $5,000 in relocation assistance for those that relocate more than 75 miles from the Port Wentworth Mill.

The Job You Will Perform:

  • Assist journeyman-level IEs in routine maintenance work as well as performing many duties independently.
  • Electrical circuit troubleshooting & repair
  • Conduit & wire installation
  • Lighting repair
  • PLC troubleshooting & repair
  • Drive troubleshooting & repair
  • Instrumentation & control valve calibration
  • Troubleshooting & repair
  • HVAC work

The Skills You Will Bring:

  • Must be currently 18 years of age or older
  • Eligible for employment in the U.S.
  • High School Diploma or GED or equivalent work experience
  • Basic computer skills
  • Able to function in a team environment.
  • AND one of the following
  • One (1) year experience in any of the following Maintenance Skill Areas: INSTRUMENTATION, ELECTRICAL, OR HVAC.
  •  OR
  • One (1) year vocational/technical education in the Instrumentation Electrical Disciplines: INSTRUMENTATION, ELECTRICAL, OR HVAC.

 

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Associate degree in any of the IP Core Maintenance skills or related disciplines (Instrumentation or Electrical)
  • Relevant work experience in an industrial environment
  • Strong math/physics understanding
  • Instrumentation background on the Instrumentation Electrical side
