$51,520 - $70,800
Multiple factors, including Individual experience, skills and abilities will determine where an employee is ultimately placed in the pay range.

Responsible for general administrative and office support tasks for the Utilities area including but not limited to raw material and production data collection and reporting, prepare weekly work schedule for department employees, review and approve hourly payroll, inventory monitoring, preparing documents and reports. The Admin Assistant works in an office environment in mill operating areas. Fast paced with high disruption potential; daily task prioritizing duties; must be flexible and able to work to meet mill and corporate schedules. The Admin Assistant will report to the Business Unit Manager.
The Job You Will Perform:
- Provide overall organization and consistency in the assigned operating area
- Help answer phones
- Assist with planning for training
- Provide general support and communication to staff and management
- Maintain EHS documentation and forward to EHS Manager
- Track and maintain the Hourly employee’s attendance, prepare and process write-ups when appropriate
- Work with Medical Services to monitor FMLA claims and tracking to be reported monthly to Sedgwick CMS and through SAP, communicate updates to ESC, management and supervisor concerning FMLA, LOA and Disability claims
- Coordinate recruiting; interview scheduling, and New Hire Indoctrination (NHI) of new employees
- Coordinate with HR Administrator on area employee status change, rate increase, and provide requested data and documents
- Maintain Department vacation schedule/tracking
- Proficiency in Windows based software programs; in particular, spreadsheet, presentation and database programs are required.
- Minimum typing speed of 60 wpm is essential.
The Qualifications, Skills and Knowledge You Will Bring:
- High school diploma required. College level coursework completion preferred.
- Administrative support experience required. Preferably from a large, national or decentralized organization.
- Ability to work independently, manages multiple projects, work under pressure, and adapt to sudden changes in the work environment.
- Excellent verbal, written, people, and diplomacy skills are required. Ability to communicate effectively with corporate/region/group/division and customer contacts is critical.
- Regular and punctual attendance is required.
- Strong problem solving, attention to detail and interpersonal skills are required.
- Kronos, WorkBrain or other electronic time/attendance system
- SAP knowledge
- Self-motivated
