The Job You Will Perform:
- Committed to a safe work environment and ensures that all IP safety and health reliable methods and federal and state OSHA requirements are in place and followed.
- The position will support a four plant system in California/Arizona where Preprinted linerboard is manufactured for both internal and 3rd party customers.
- Function as an outside account management/sales capacity for California and Arizona.
- Accountabilities include profitably growing the business with strategic accounts, implementing value propositions with key customers, exceeding financial goals, and providing timely feedback on market, customer, and competitive activity.
- Work closely with the Preprint Sales Manager to determine strategic accounts, develop key account plans, and execute these plans to generate profitable sales for the business.
- Responsible for providing insights for development of customer Value Propositions that will create IP market advantage that result in development of new accounts and growth of existing accounts
- Understand the industry, the market, customer requirements, and organizational capabilities that result in superior solutions and services, which differentiate International Paper in the marketplace.
- Responsible for the resolution of significant technical, scientific, or engineering issues that affect the sales installation and utilization of organization products, and/or services.
- Collaborate with the International Paper converting facilities, customer service, manufacturing, design, and product development to establish the appropriate course of action with senior technical leaders.
