Clamp Truck Operator -- $1000 Sign on Bonus 2

Position Title

Clamp Truck Operator $1000 SIGN ON BONUS

 

Pay Rate:

$20.08 per hour

 

Sign-on Bonus:       

$500 after 30 days with perfect attendance

$500 after 6 months,

 

 

Category/Shift:

Hourly Full-Time (3:00 pm – 11:00 pm Monday-Friday) or (11:00 pm – 7:00 am Monday – Friday)

Mandatory Overtime for mate relief / extra work.

The Job You Will Perform:

  • Take rolls of paper to the corrugator, always taking from buttrolls first, and record all rolls taken to the corrugator on the proper forms. 
  • Learn to read corrugator lineups.
  • Mark buttrolls as to the size, diameter, lineal footage, and grade before returning to stock.
  • Unload rolls from trailers and/or rail cars.  Check for and note any physical damage to the rolls.
  • Operate the clamp truck in a safe manner.
  • Complete clamp truck inspection report at the begging of each shift and turn in maintenance work orders to supervision for needed repairs.
  • Keep warehouse organized and clean.
  • Turn in roll tallies to corrugator supervisor or scheduling department.
  • Maximize the utilization of equipment by operator machinery at available capacity and speed.
  • Adheres to daily production schedule.  Makes recommendations for optimizing the schedule to meet cost, quality, delivery, and service goals.
  • Assist corrugator operator as instructed by supervision
  • Comply with company policies and procedures, including safety and maintaining good housekeeping. 
  • Additional duties may be assigned by management.

 

The Skills You Will Bring:

  • Prior PIT/Clamp Truck/Forklift experience
