Maintenance A1 Mechanic

Position Title

MAINTENANCE TECHNICIAN - SIGNING BONOUS $1,000.00

 

 

Pay Rate:

$33.34/hr based on experience and qualifications

 

Category/Shift:

Hourly full-time; 24/7, 12-hour shift schedule. 7P-7A, every other Saturday/Sunday/Monday off (3 on, 2 off, 2 on, 3 off)

 

Sign on Bonus:      

$500 after 30 days,

$500 after 6 months

The Job You Will Perform:

  • Provide safe and timely mechanical support
  • Preventative maintenance and lubrication
  • Repair, mechanical troubleshooting and resolution of basic operational issues of machines within a manufacturing industrial environment
  • Diagnose system faults and troubleshoot faulty components for hydraulics and pneumatics
  • Maintain a clean, organized and safe work environment.
  • Responsible for proper waste disposal

 

 

The Skills You Will Bring:

  • Minimum of 3 years’ mechanical experience or equivalent education/trade school experience
  • Advanced electrical knowledge, including the ability to read and interpret wiring schematics; troubleshoot, repair and replace AC/DC drives and motors; and calibrate and set speed cards, potentiometers, tachs, encoders, etc.
  • Advanced knowledge of variable frequency drives, human machine interfaces, boiler experience and fabrication skills
  • Advanced knowledge of hydraulics and pneumatics
  • Ability to conduct, maintain, test and repair electrical/electronic components which affect mechanics in an effort to determine the equipment malfunction and restore to operation.
  • Ability to use a laptop to read, interpret, analyze, modify and create ladder logic; use a laptop to perform program transfers to all models of PLCs in the plant.
  • Ability to read and interpret both electrical and mechanical drawings, blue prints and schematics.
  • Ability to climb overhead structures; work beneath machines, and in close quarters performing analysis and repair work.
  • Ability to work independently in a mature and professional manner.
  • Detail Oriented – Ability to pay attention to all projects large and small.
  • Self-Motivated – Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
