The Job You Will Perform:

• Supervises activities of all personnel and the operation or the machine assigned to him/her.
• Maintains quality requirements in accordance with company standards.
• Must have specific job knowledge of machine to which he/she is responsible:
  • Machine capabilities and limitations
  • Set-up procedures

• Quality adjustments
• Machine maintenance and housekeeping

• Must be thoroughly familiar with quality operations and standards:
  • Die Cutting: cut to print register elimination of score cracking, cutting and stripping
  • Joining: Square folding, automatic bottoms, gap control, adhesion
  • Printing: Coverage, registration, crush, sharpness, viscosity
  • Sheet scoring: Dimensions, score quality
• Responsible for set up duties as assigned. 
• Responsible for certain aspects of quality assurance. 
• May be required to load material into machine.

The Skills You Will Bring:

• Must be able to lift up to fifty (50) pounds. 
• Must be able to read a standard tape measure, and read and understand job specification cards. 
• Must follow all safety rules and procedures; watch out for crew member’s safety at all times; always follow lock out and tag out procedures; always use personal protective equipment (steel toed shoes, safety glasses, ear plugs and safety vest, Kevlar gloves, etc). 
• Work requires the ability to understand and follow directions. Demonstrated ability to add and subtract all units of measure, read and copy figures and count and record figures. 
• A comprehension level is required to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written or oral form and to deal with problems.
