Position Title

Production Worker [Utility]

(Note: Utility is the full-time entry-level position for new manufacturing associates)

 

Pay Rate:

$23.29 per hour (+ shift differential of $.50 per hour working night shift/ 3rd shift)

 

Sign on Bonus:      

$500 after 30 days,

$500 after 6 months,

$500 after 1 year and an additional bonus at 2 years

 

Category/Shift:

Hourly Full-Time.

Night Shift: 6:45pm – 7:15am. 12.5 hour shifts

-Must be willing to work overtime and weekends as needed; significant overtime may be needed during busy periods

The Job You Will Perform:

  • Safely run machines and follow all safety rules and practices at all times;
  • Count and stack finished product;
  • Learn customer requirements and specifications by reading factory work orders, print cards, and design specifications;
  • Utilize basic shop math;
  • Accurately read tape measures, gauges and other test equipment;
  • Coordinate activities with other machine crew members to efficiently set up and run orders;
  • Maintain quality and production standards as required by the company;
  • Continually monitor the quality and quantity of production;
  • Maintain housekeeping continually during the assigned shift;
  • Perform quality inspections and tests, and record findings; and
  • Perform other duties as assigned by supervision.

The Skills You Will Bring:

  • 3-6 months hands on Industrial Plant manufacturing experience
  • Corrugated industry experience preferred
  • The ability to work in a fast-paced environment with minimal supervision
  • The ability to accurately read a tape measurer and ruler
  • The ability to use basic shop math
  • The ability to learn; and the ability to follow instructions, ask questions, and work effectively as a member of a team.
