Maintenance Technician

Pay Rate:

$28.38 – $33.43/hour pending skill level

Category/Shift:

Hourly Full-Time (6pm-6am, Nights)

Training will be on Day shift (6am-6pm)

The Job You Will Perform:

• Troubleshoot and repair mechanical, hydraulic, pneumatic and electrical/electronic equipment including but not limited to programmable controls, numeral controls, power supplies, drives, gauges, and test equipment.
• Preventative maintenance, breakdown repairs, minimize equipment down time and perform small project activities. 
• Read blueprints, schematics, and drawings. 
• Maintain a clean, organized and safe work environment; responsible for proper waste disposal. 
• Receptive to training and performing other duties as required.
• Preferred  electrical experience for the following tasks:
  • ​​​​​​​Install wire and conduit for newly installed and existing equipement such as conveyors, programmable controllers, and corrugating machinery.
  • Replace faulty electrical components of machine such as relays, switches, and motors, and position sensing devices. 
  • Diagnose and repair/replace faulty electronic componets
  • Troubleshoot drives, i.e. AC and DC
  • Read electrical block diagrams, schematics as well as PLC ladder logic

The Skills You Will Bring:

• Industrial maintenance experience
• Electrical Aptitude, strongly preferred.
• Well-rounded in electrical and mechanical knowledge
• Machine shop skills
• Desire to produce quality work as part of a team
• Ability to read, write, and speak English
• Must be able to pass an advanced industrial skills and instrumentation/electrican knowledge test prior to interview process
