Position Title:

Lead Operator

 

Pay Rate:

$35/hr.

 

Category/Shift:

Hourly Full-Time

Customized rotating shift (12 hour shifts, switching from nights to days, 3 and 4 day on/off combinations and one 7-day off period per month) requiring two weekends a month and holiday work.

The Job You Will Perform:

  • Provides positive attitude while supporting leadership with all safety and quality programs and processes.
  • Effectively delegates work to meet production goals; drives toward an achievable press schedule.
  • Display good attendance standards.
  • Facilitates focus meetings.
  • Follows all published work instructions at all time.
  • Helps manage and train employees in the Pay for Skills program. 
  • Coaches employees for desired results by providing feedback. 
  • Responsible for tear sheet review and all shippable roll stock.
  • Responsible for all paperwork and checklists created in the production process.
  • Fosters an atmosphere and culture that drives toward a clean facility that looks as good as new or better.
  • Maintaining open communication with managers and front line leaders at the plant to ensure they are informed of problems and/or unusual situations.
  • Special projects or other duties as assigned.

  • Basic computer skills. (GRFX, Microsoft Word, Outlook and Excel)
  • Reading factory orders
