The Job You Will Perform:

The Customer Service Supervisor position provides leadership and direction to the facility’s customer service representatives to ensure superior service and customer relationships.

 

  • Ensure all safety requirements are met and policies are followed.  Fully investigate any safety issues along with management leadership and work with the team to make recommendations as needed for any modifications needed.   Ensure all safety and incident reporting requirements are met
  • Lead all Customer Service Reps by assigning and monitoring work/tasks and providing coaching and counseling to enhance customer relationships and service.
  • Ensures business has a strong sense of urgency and desire to service the customer.
  • Manage all aspects of performance for all Customer Service Reps including, but not limited to: one-on-ones; objective/goal setting, CSA and development plans.
  • Works with order entry systems such as DPOE (order entry); BME (invoicing); Web based scheduling tools in order to meet customer needs.
  • Ensure quality of product through SOPs, training programs, auditing programs and hold EEs accountable for same.
  • Work with other departmental managers and supervisors to ensure successful workflow and up-to-date customer information entered to ensure success in meeting customer needs.
  • Work with finance on financial controls to ensure successful audits.
  • Participate in the hiring and training process of new Customer Service Reps.
  • Typically works with largest or more complex accounts than Customer Relations Representatives.
  • Participates in reviewing of operating results, evaluate progress of the Customer Service department, and control expenses related to budgets and capital.
  • Responsible for achieving all key performance metrics set by Business Management.
  • Drive employee engagement, training and development to maximize safety, quality, and productivity.
  • Coordinate and conduct plant tours as necessary.
  • All other duties assigned.

 

The Skills You Will Bring:

  • Five years leadership experience is required.
  • Experience in the packaging industry to include plate making, mounting, graphics, structure, box making or press experience are preferable.
  • Strong problem solving, organizational and communication skills
  • The experience and ability to lead and provide direction to a Customer Service team including performance management.
  • The ability to multi-task and prioritize work effectively
