Shipping Lead - 3rd Shift

 

 

Pay Rate:

$22.75/hr +

 

Sign on Bonus:      

$500 after 30 days,

$500 after 6 months,

 

 

Retention Bonus:  

$500 after 1 year

Additional lump sum after 2 years

The Job You Will Perform:

  • Coordinators are to wear all required personal protective equipment.
  • Walk floor inventory trailers, finish goods, housekeeping, load locks
  • Ensure trailers are locked out, chocks are in place, and safe for lift truck operators to load
  • Follow up and report any malfunctions of lift trucks
  • Create customer trailers from hot list and run sheet
  • Assign customer trailer to bay door
  • Present a copy of loading plan and post corrugators report to lift truck operators
  • Coordinate and monitor loading of trailers with lift drivers
  • Research and follow-up on any discrepancies concerning missing units, overruns, shortages, etc.
  • Transfer remaining customer orders to a newly assigned trailer, if not applicable on initial trailer.
  • Check the load sheet with ULT for accuracy
  • Check off orders to master hot list and communicate delivery time issues.
  • Generate Bills of Lading
  • Produce manual BOL’s for waste, or other items shipped out
  • Coordinate with shift supervisor, control room operator, and Customer Service Department
  • Monitor docks for safety locks and chocks
  • Log in any returns unloaded
  • Check and monitor trucking schedules and driver pickup times
