Position Title:

Maintenance Mechanic

 

Pay Rate:

$28.28/hour up to $37.88/hour

 

Sign on Bonus:

$1000 after 30 days

$500 after 6 months

$500 after 1 year

 

Category/Shift:

Hourly Full-Time: 2nd Shift (3pm-11pm)

 

Location: 1699 W. 9th St., White Bear Lake, MN 55110

 

The Job You Will Perform:

We are looking for self-motivated individuals who are capable of performing a multitude of functions in a flexible, fast-paced production environment.   Our workplace requires individuals who understand the needs of the business while maintaining a focus on safety, customer satisfaction, quality, and productivity. 

 

Specific Responsibilities Include But Are Not Limited To:

  • Maintaining production equipment to optimize reliability through preventive maintenance, troubleshooting and repair of machines.
  • Troubleshooting skills in industrial, electrical, hydraulic, pneumatic and mechanical failures and the aptitude to correct those failures.
  • Utilize both excellent mechanical skills and knowledge (pneumatics, hydraulics, bearings, power transmission, lubrication) and electrical/electronic skills and knowledge (PLCs, A/C, D/C motors and drives, schematics) in our continuous process-manufacturing environment to achieve machine uptime metrics.
  • Accurately completing administrative documents and following directions are important work traits.
  • Demonstrate technical experience, reliability and the ability to work independently as well as working as part of a team. 

 

Individual Must Possess The Following Qualifications:

  • Minnesota Special Engineer (Boiler Special Level) License or higher
  • Strong industrial electrical experience/education
  • Strong mechanical aptitude
  • Strong troubleshooting skills
  • Strong communication skills
  • Familiarity with SAP is a plus
  • High school degree (or equivalent experience) and five years of maintenance experience with at least one year with the same employer. 
  • Highly-qualified candidates would possess a technical degree or apprenticeship certification and maintenance experience in the corrugated industry or similar manufacturing environment. 
  • Individual must be able to work overtime and cover off shift schedules as needed.

 

Candidates selected for further consideration will be required to complete a tests on job-related skills, a panel interview, background check, drug screen, and pre-employment health assessment.
