Electrical & Instrumentation Team Leader

 

Pay Rate:

$93,400 – 124,500

Multiple factors, including Individual experience, skills and abilities will determine where an employee is ultimately placed in the pay range.

The Job You Will Perform:

  • Ensure safety, productivity, onboarding, and performance of  instrument and electrical team and contractors
  • Approve timesheets, vacation, and shift scheduling for electrical team
  • Provide mill technical support and coordination of resources in electrical troubleshooting for day to day operations and capital planning
  • Review and support execution of weekly schedule for electrical team
  • Lead team continuous improvement efforts by equipment areas
  • Schedule and complete mandatory electrical safety training and identify other trainings for the team as needed
  • Perform and assist in root cause analysis for electrical failures
  • Manage preventative maintenance through SAP for electrical scopes, e.g. search, create, and schedule PMs
  • Manage and prioritize electrical spending and work order backlog
  • Plan outage execution, manpower, and staffing for electrical teams
  • Manage electrical spare parts inventory, obsolescence, and stocking needs
  • Provide routine weekend coverage and on-call support
  • Utilize “Process Ownership Expectations” document

The Skills You Will Bring:

  • BS Degree in Electrical Engineering with 3 years of experience, OR equivalent practical/technical work experience.
  • Proven record of safe work practices
  • Demonstrated effective leadership skills
  • Previous electrical supervisory experience preferred
  • Thorough knowledge of reliability concepts and application
  • Basic computer skills and knowledge of Microsoft Word and Excel
  • Excellent communication skills, both oral and written
  • Demonstrated sense of urgency in professional manner
  • Good organizational and follow-up skills
  • Proven ability to work as part of a team, treating team members with dignity and respect
  • Proven ability to flow to work within and outside of the Maintenance department
