Pay Rate:
$61,600 - $82,100
Multiple factors, including Individual experience, skills and abilities will determine where an employee is ultimately placed in the pay range. Variable pay may provide additional opportunities for financial awards. This job is eligible to participate in IP’s annual incentive plan.

The Job You Will Perform:
1. Cost Estimating- Develop cost estimates from specifications, provided by the sales reps, in multiple systems for new or prospective business.
2. Bid preparation, analysis and response to customers and National Accounts to provided needed data for bid completion.
3. Analysis of Sales Rep quoting activity – Develop and maintain monthly reporting of activity by sales reps to determine wins and losses and reasons why. Follow up with sales reps on status of quotes.
4. Recommend pricing levels – analyze pricing across the business for like items and build pricing recommendations database for new items.
5. Management of the price increases and decreases SharePoint Site
6. Analyze scenarios and options to increase profit margin within current accounts as assigned by sales manager.
Sales Support Activities
1. Manage prospect database and provide sales reps reports for their assigned geographical area.
2. Develop and maintain competitor database by gathering needed input from sales reps and managers
3. Assist with accounts receivable and inventory management by functioning as the point person to disseminate accurate, up to date information on an ongoing basis.
4. Manage collateral materials with Marketing
5. Develop understanding and utilization of IP sales approaches and tools
6. Develop and maintain knowledge of customer base
7. Identify and analyze accounts to develop and implement profitable business solutions
8. Responsible for generation of cost savings and account profitability resulting from analysis and recommended solutions in assigned accounts.
9. Develop and maintain customer relationships
10. Other duties as assigned
The Qualifications, Skills and Knowledge You Will Bring:
Specific competencies required include customer focused, action oriented, integrity and trust, perseverance and composure. Qualifications for this positon include:
- Preferred Bachelor’s degree in a related field or related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Knowledge of Witron and HRMS a plus
- Preferred experience working in a manufacturing environment
- Preferred computer data-entry experience
- Four or more years of customer relations experience in the Corrugated Box Industry
